Bargersville District: Station 202

Station 202 Information

Station 202 protects the northside of Bargersville’s response area. Located in a residential and rural area, the “2’s” is home to a Engine, Tanker and Reserve Engine.

Bargersville is located 15 miles south of Indianapolis in western Johnson County along IN-144. Established in 1955, this combination department includes 78 members who provide Fire, Rescue and ALS reponse from two stations. BCFD protect a rapidly growing suburban and rural community of more than 25,000 residents over 62 square miles including portions of Union, Franklin and White River Townships. ALS/BLS transport is provided by Rural/Metro.

Engine 202 is the first-due apparatus for all incidents from Station 2. While Rescue 201 handles most medical calls from Station 1, Engine 202 functions more as a Rescue-Pumper unlike it’s twin Engine 201.
